Rev. Alexander Murray

Alexander Murray lives at Badbea, Migdale near Bonar Bridge in Sutherland where he retired with his late wife Marjory. They were blessed with seven children.

Along with the joy of reaching the milestone of a Diamond Anniversary, Alexander celebrated 60 years of ministry in February 2014 where his influence and contribution has been wide and varied. Amongst other things, he has over the years ministered to congregations in Winnipeg (2yrs), Applecross (28yrs) and Lairg (21yrs), had active involvement in county council, was influential in establishing the Highland Theological College and served as Chairman of the Boards of Governors and Trustees there for many years.

He continues to take an active role in Presbytery and as Session Clerk to the Lairg, Rogart and Kinlochbervie congregations.
